2018 Mission Trip

Planning for our 2018 mission trip is underway. We would like to open up our event next year to all members.

Thirst Missionshas mission trips to Texas in 2018 to help rebuild after the 2017 hurricanes. Groups need to have at least 10 people and costs $599/person for 6 days/5 nights. We would fundraise much of the money. Minimum age is 8. Any youth attending under the age of 14 would need to have an adult family member attend.
Please complete this survey so we can determine if we have enough interest to make a down payment.

Women’s Fellowship

Women's Fellowship Crafting for a Cause

Ladies of all ages and their guests got together on Friday, October 13th at 6pmto make no-sew fleece blankets for the Cardiac Cath Department at Children's Hospital. They will be given to children who come for a procedure. This can be a scary time for them and a soft, fleeceblanket can be comforting.

St. Pauls Photo Directory

St. Pauls will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2018, and what better time to create a new photo directory of our members?

LifeTouch will be here on Saturday, November 4, Sunday, November 5, and Sunday, December 3, to photograph our members for their family portraits to be included in the directory.

You can sign up on line by following this link:

If you would prefer to sign up manually, sheets will be available in Guild Hall following worship for the next several Sundays. If a time slot does not appear open on the sheet, that time is already reserved.

You can also call the church office at 251-5160 between 9 am and 1 pm, and we can sign you up.

Please see Steve Hoagland or Mike Maury with any questions.

Hygiene Kits

With all of the recent natural disasters there are many who are lacking the basicnecessities for personal hygiene following the storms.

88,000 of these hygiene kits were sent by Church World Service to victims of the hurricanes in Texas and Florida. It’s time to replenish the storehouse of these kits.

If you are able to help, here’s what you’ll need:

·One hand towel measuring approximately 15″ x 28″ to 16″ x 32″ (no fingertip, bath, dish towel or micro-fiber)

·One washcloth

·One wide-tooth comb removed from the package

·One fingernail or toenail clipper removed from the package

·One bath-size bar of soap in the wrapper

·One toothbrush in the package

·Ten standard size Band-Aids

You can create your own kit by placing the items in a gallon-size Ziploc bag, or you can just donate items from the list above, or give a monetary donation so Women’s Fellowship can purchase some of the needed items. Please bring in all donations to church by Sunday, October 15th. We will assemble the kits on Sunday, October 22nd in Guild Hall during the coffee hour. All are welcome to help.

If you can help, please contact Cathy Schnabel for more information.
