Welcome to Grade! We have been selected as contact parents for TeacherName class. As contact parents we are responsible for coordinating our three class parties, recruiting volunteers for PC events and supporting TeacherName with anything he/she may need. We thank you in advance for your prompt replies and help offered during the school year. Our parent volunteers are what make our school a success!

Attached you will find a form collecting contact and volunteer information. This information will help us keep you informed regarding classroom parties, volunteer opportunities, class gifts, etc. Please complete this form and return it to school to TeacherName by Date.

Three parents (1 contact parent, 2 party volunteers) are permitted to attend each party. If needed, we will draw names to make the selections. A meeting to choose the party volunteers and alternates will be held on Date/Time/Place. All parents are invited to attend. You do not need to be present to be selected. We MUST have your completed form to be selected.

If you are selected to attend a party, you MUST participate in the party planning. If you cannot attend your party, an alternate will go in your place. Classroom parties are the parents’ responsibility. PTO does not provide reimbursement. We welcome your donations. All rules and responsibilities regarding party volunteers can be found on the PTO website.

Going forward all of our correspondence will be via email or on yellow paper. If you receive our correspondence via paper be sure to check your child’s Friday folder. We look forward to a great year. If you have any questions, please contact one of us.
