- State Team Alternate:
Rule #5 State Team Competition Rules:
The preliminary lineup and roster must be submitted two weeks before the meet or the day after your sectional qualifier – whatever is last. The final lineup of all gymnasts who are competing must be submitted at the beginning of Friday’s warm-ups. Substitutions can only be made from the final roster. If an injury takes place during Friday’s warm –up, Saturday’s competition or touch warm up, the Section will be entitled to replace the gymnast in the same order.
- Due to our state meet in the winter (March – 4 months from our sectional qualifier), it was voted (8-0) to implement an alternate.
- Other sections have up to 3 alternates on their final roster.
- We have always substituted from within the existing squad.
- Due to injuries or retirement from the sport – we are often times leaving a better substitute home.
- Chelsea Recor from Lancaster was agreed upon to be the Alternate for our State Team. She was 6th AA, 7th V, 8th BR, 6th BM, 8th FX
Happy Holidays to you and your families!
