ARTIST ELIGIBILITY: Any artist who has previously shown work at Arts in Central Park or the DAAC gallery is automatically eligible to participate. New artists must submit samples of work for consideration when submitting their application.

APPLICATIONS DUE BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3.

  1. PARTICIPATION FEE (fee required with your application):

Choose the best option for you!

  • A $50 participation fee with a 20% commission on your sales
  • A $15 participation fee with a 30% commission on your sales
  1. SALE OF WORK: All items will be sold at the price you set. Please include the appropriate commission to DAAC in your price. All prices should be an even dollar amount (no cents, please). Records will be kept of each artist’s sales and you will receive your proceeds within one month after the event.
  1. ART WORK: We encourage you to submit a wide variety of art and fine crafts, including affordable, “gifty” types of items such as baskets, note cards, jewelry and other wearables, ornaments, ceramics, textiles, florals, woodwork, matted art prints, paintings, photography, etc.
  1. SPACE: We have wall space, pedestals and other display options in our gallery to create a festive “shop atmosphere.” Depending upon the number of art items submitted and due to the need for variety, we must reserve the option to display only a portion of what you provide. We will put out additional stock as sales dictate and will contact you if we need more.
  1. TAGGING WORK: We will provide tags to tape or safety pin on all items. Please write your name, inventory # and price on each tag. A sample tag will be provided.

(You’ll get a packet of tags/inventory sheets in November.)

  1. ITEM INVENTORY: We will provide an “Item Inventory Sheet.” Please list each item in chronological order with all requested information and submit with your items when they are delivered. Please do not create your own numbering or inventory system unless approved by Sue Powell.
  1. DELIVERY: Items may be brought to the Decatur Area Arts Council, Madden Arts Center,

125 N. Water from 10 am – 4 pm on Mon. Nov. 20; Tues. Nov. 21; Wed. Nov. 22; Mon. Nov. 27.

PICK-UP: Items should be picked up from 10–4:00 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

There will be a check-out system so that all items can be accounted for either physically or on a sales sheet. If you are unable to pick up at that time, please make other arrangements.
