Small International Fund - £9210 (from the £15,000 available in this fund) has been donated to support the charities listed below:

£500 June & Brian Cox Educational Trust – Funding agreed for an additional well in Jambour Village

£960 Farmers Support Initiative – to provide 4 villages In Nigeria with an irrigation system so that they can continue to grow their crops during the ‘dry season’

£2,000 Amantani – to fund the ‘teacher training’ element of their Schools Project in Southern Peru

£1,000 Olney Newton Link in Buckinghamshire to support their pineapple growing initiative in Sierra Leone where people are being trained, not only in farming methods, but also in the business aspect of pineapple growing to relieve the problems of poverty and unemployment

£2,000 Heal Kids Foundation - Towards the building costs of a Primary School for 48 children in Joe Kan village in Burma, in particular the cost of a clean water supply and toilets

£1,000 Ecologia Youth Trust – Funding towards the introduction of a Youth Engagement Initiative in Kitale, Kenya

£750 The Saltpond Education Project – Funding towards equipping their School with onsite

cooking facilities and general food item

£1,000 Teach A Man to Fish – To support the set up and development of two new school businesses at the Mackay Memorial College in Kampala

£1800 Tall Ships Youth Trust – to support 6 young people with disabilities or special needs on a TSYT voyage aimed at building their self esteem, social skills and independence

£842 Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire Women’s Aid – to support their ‘Help me to Stay Safe project for 7.-11 year olds

£5000 Prince’s Trust – To support a 12 week Personal Development Programme in Wellingborough

£3,500 Northampton Hope Centre – Towards their ‘Pathway to Employment’ project

£1,000 Families for Children Adoption Agency – Towards their annual running costs

£1,000 Spencer Contact - Grant towards their operating costs, supporting disadvantaged families by providing free recycled furniture. Families are only charged for the delivery

£1000 Inqophamlan - to support the provision of an Old Aged Service Centre in KwaZulu Natal

£500 Cedar House - who provide care for orphaned and vulnerable children. This donation will enable them to provide bunk beds and bedding for 20 children, not only to free up space, but also to help stop children sometimes sleeping 4 to a bed on top of their clothing

£2,600 Emborcraft Training Centre – To implement a woodworking training course

£1,000 The Ibhabhatane Centre – Towards their feeding scheme for 20 orphaned children
