QUALIFICATIONS
Latino descent, at least one parent.
June 2015 graduate of a high school in LAUSD.
Fall 2015enrollment in an institute of higher learning (two- or four-year school)
Undocumented, Resident or US Citizen.
AWARD AMOUNT
Multiple Scholarship awards will be given in the sum of $1000.00 each ($500 for two-year colleges). The winning recipients will be honored during our "Día del Maestro" celebration on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Students are to submit the following:
- A completed Scholarship Application Form (Front and Back)
- Essay (typed)
- Transcripts with a minimum 2.5 overall G.P.A. - 7 semesters
- Two letters of recommendation (Teacher, Administrator, or Counselor)
- 3 x 5 photo (school picture)

Graduating High School Seniors who are interested in careers that would be an asset to the community are invited to apply for the AMAE High School Senior Scholarship. AMAE awards $1,000 scholarships ($500 for two-year colleges) to deserving students who demonstrate higher education aspirations, through a competitive application process. Essay must be typed using Times Roman 12-point font, double spaced, and no more than two pages in length.
