The College of William & Mary, the nation’s second oldest institution of higher learning, seeks a talented enrollment professional to serve as the College’s Associate Provost for Enrollment and Dean of Admission.

Located in historic Williamsburg, Virginia and perennially named one of higher education’s “Public Ivies,” the College offers a rigorous academic program taught by a distinguished faculty to an accomplished and engaged student body. The College of William & Mary enrolls 6,271 undergraduate and 2,105 graduate students, combining the type of faculty-student relationship typically found in a liberal arts college with the depth and resources in scholarship and innovation more typically associated with a major research institution.

Reporting to Provost Michael R. Halleran, the Associate Provost provides strategic direction to the Offices of Admission and Financial Aid and engages broadly and collaboratively with the faculty and administration to continuously design, execute, and refine strategies that identify, recruit, and enroll an outstanding and best-fit population of first-year and transfer students who are prepared to embrace the rich intellectual vibrancy and creativity that permeates all aspects of the community. The Associate Provost will bring substantial experience in a complex enrollment organization, a track record of successful enrollment initiatives, management and supervisory skills that will inspire and engender loyalty and commitment to high standards, and knowledge of systems and processes to strengthen infrastructure in both Admission and Financial Aid.
