The Psy.D. Program is seeking an Assistant Professor to join our small, highly collegial and professionally active faculty. The Fresno Clinical Psy.D. Program is a practitioner-scholar program that has been continuously accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association since 1994.

The Psy.D. Program offers excellent generalist training as well as forensic, health and child emphasis areas. The program is deeply engaged with the diverse multicultural communities of Central California.

Our university also has specialized certificate training in Infant-Preschooler Mental Health and in LGBT Professional Practice that are available for our graduate students. We also have a Clinical Psychology PhD program on our campus and the two doctoral programs are closely aligned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology, California license or license eligibility. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, community engagement and diversity, clinical expertise, dissertation supervision and scholarly productivity. Area of specialization is open; expertise in health psychology, forensic psychology, multicultural psychology, trauma or substance abuse would complement current faculty interests. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (CSPP) at Alliant International University offers APA-accredited doctoral programs (PsyD and PhD) in Clinical Psychology at five campuses in California, a Clinical Counseling master’s program at two campuses in California, COAMFTE-accredited master’s and doctoral programs in Marital and Family Therapy at four campuses in California, a national postdoctoral master’s program in psychopharmacology, and international programs in Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico.

CSPP’s mission is to provide the highest quality education, training, research and service in professional psychology and related human service fields.
