1973 Track Team

This year’s track team displayed leadership, balance, and maturity. After many hours of practicing and working together, it developed into the best track team MountGilead has ever produced. The record book speaks for the strength of the team. It was undefeated in dual meets and in fact only lost to two “AAA” schools. With a well balanced squad, seven records were shattered. As a result of Coach Paul Bremigan developing his talented charges into a track powerhouse, he was chosen class “AA” Track Coach of the Year by his coaching colleagues. Administrative details were handled by Assistant Coach Ron Thill who made sure all the “little things” were done so the team could concentrate on their events.
