Assessment for camping Leader

Only leaders scoring below the pass score will need to be referred for further assessment. Referral may only be necessary for one area of the assessment, and not the whole thing. i.e. somebody may be excellent in all areas of their assessment, but scoring 3 or less in one area means they may need to receive some additional help and guidance.

How to score: in each sector:

1: No evidence of competence

2: Serious lack of competence which would compromise safety or viability of the event

3: Some aspects satisfactory but not competent to ensure the safety and viability of the event

4: Competence demonstrated in most aspects and a good overall standard

5: Competence demonstrated in all aspects and an excellent example

Please add notes in the ‘Notes’ space if appropriate.
