ASA Introduces a First-of-its-Kind
Auto-Pairing Technology
Elkhart, IN (February 23, 2012) – ASA Electronics, an international manufacturer of premium audio and video mobile electronics is proud to introduce a new wireless auto-pairing rear observation system to the commercial heavy duty industry. This revolutionary new wireless camera system can seamlessly pair a Voyager® monitor to any wireless Voyager® camera on any trailer. The system allows for a driver to pair any trailer with a Voyager® wireless camera with the touch of a button, simplifying connections and eliminating bulkhead wiring. Voyager’s auto-pairing system works with Voyager’s 5" digital wireless observation system.
Voyager’s auto-pairing technology has no cross talk which allows for dedicated signal pairing that cannot be broken. This system has also been tested above 60 ft. and proved to be effective. Previous wireless systems worked off of a radio frequency or infrared sensors that could not be used in a commercial setting because of their lack of reliability. Voyager’s auto-pairing WiSight system ensures that once the system is paired it will not drop unless it is outside of range. Plus, the system features an extended range antenna to ensure it does not cut out at highway speeds.
Many fleets who have considered using wired backup camera systems have been deterred to due to high installation and additional maintenance costs. With this new innovative unit however, these past issues have been eliminated by Voyager WiSight’s low initial investment cost and near maintenance-free safety solution. The only wiring needed is from a 12V accessory source at the camera location.
