Dear Friend,
Over the past several years, Hunterdon Hospice has provided encouragement and support to bereaved persons in Hunterdon County. While some of our families are fortunate enough to have a relatively large support system of their own and may or may not feel the need for additional direct help, others find themselves walking the lonely road of grief without companionship or understanding. Others actively seek the company of old and new friends alike, still others feel uncomfortable talking to relative strangers about the intimate details of their feelings and their life situation.
Whatever your situation, we would like to continue to include you in our bereavement correspondence program. You've already received mailings from this program. We hope you found them helpful in clarifying your feelings. Future mailings will include information about the grief experience along with worksheets and specific ideas, which you might use to help guide you.
The mailings will be sent to you at monthly intervals during the coming year along with a special mailing for the holiday season. There is no charge for this service. The bereavement correspondence program is designed to help you understand and express your feelings of loss and grief in the privacy of your own home. However, if at any time you have a question or would like to discuss either the material you have received or your own grief experience, please feel free to contact the Hospice office or attend our Bereavement Support Group which meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Hospice office.
