As We Prepare for the 2014-2015 School Year, I Want to Thank You for Choosing St. David

Dear Parents,

As we prepare for the 2014-2015 school year, I want to thank you for choosing St. David School for your children's education. Below you will find tuition payment information and important dates for you to note on your calendar.

Families who have an open balance with the school were mailed their remaining 2013-2014 invoice and their 2014-2015 contract which needs to be signed and returned. If you have not yet received these please call the school office. Students are not automatically enrolled from the previous year until registration and fees are paid.

Tuition payments are made directly to SMART Tuition, our tuition collection company. If you have not signed up with SMART Tuition please do so immediately because all tuition payments go through them. Tuition payments are due on the 1stor 5th of each month, August through May. Our secretary, Jeanette Beard, and I are in the office and ready to help you with any questions you may have. Questions about SMART Tuition can be directed to Mrs. Beard. If you normally mail in a check to SMART Tuition, but have not received an invoice from them please mail your payment to the school immediately. Families with a past-due balance are required to bring their account current before school starts on August 20th.

Used uniforms, including skirts, blue twill pants, polo shirts and school sweatshirts are available in the office. All new uniforms can be purchase at Print Em’ All who will be on campus during the Sneak Peak and 1st Day of School. You can also visit their website at Pictures of uniform appropriate shoes are shown on the school website under the resources/forms section.

School begins on Wednesday, August 20that 8:00am. Coffee and donuts will be available for parents in the school hall on this day. The schedule for August is as follows:

August 20th First Day of School - Minimum DayNoon Dismissal

August 21st Minimum DayNoon Dismissal August 27th Mandatory Parent Meeting & Back to School Night 7:00 pm

Extended Care (for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade) is available from 6:30-8:00am and 2:45-6:00pm each school day. On minimum days Extended Care begins at noon. All students arriving on school grounds before 7:40am are to go to Extended Care. For more information on Extended Care for preschool or grades K through 8, please contact the school office at 510-232-2283.

MamaBear Lunch program is our hot lunch provider. Please visit their website at Hot lunch will begin on Monday August 26th.
