Corporate Policy Instructions (CPI)
General Post Instructions
- Responsibilities
- Be a servant
- Be relational
- Pray for safety and security
- Be the “eyes and ears” for security issues
- Unlock locked doors for authorized parties only
- Look out for suspicious people and packages (a specific CPI will address this)
- Provide assistance during evacuations (a specific CPI will address this)
- Provide assistance with Lost/Found Items, Children, Parents
- Be on the lookout for registered Person’s of Interest (POIs)
- Assist medical team when they respond, focusing on keeping areas clear (a specific CPI will address this)
- Schedule
- 3 Week Rotation
- Wire up at least 30 minutes before service and report in with Captain/Overseer
- Turn in for the shift 30 minutes after the last service you are serving unless Captain or Overseer adjusts at time of service.
- Kids Post Instructions
- Always introduce yourself to the Children’s Lead Worker before EACH service, even if you worked the previous service
- Doors should be closed and locked (if technically possible) 10 minutes after service starts
- Roam through Children’s area several times during service
- Check restrooms if empty
- Access Authentication / Authorization
- Restricted Areas

- If you have a badge for other ministry roles, please get/use your Security Team Badge during your Security Team times.
- Always know where the Reflective Vests are in case of emergency

- Keep on the lookout for spills, broken handrails, glass, wet floors, etc. (Notify Facilities)

- When you are on schedule, you must have a live radio using an ear piece.

- Do’s
- Wait 3 seconds after keying microphone before speaking
- Speak directly into the microphone at least one- six inches from your mouth.
- Speak clearly and slowly.
- Communicate concise messages.
- Speak brief and to the point.
- Refrain from using the radio unless absolutely necessary.
- Acknowledge receipt of all messages directed to you regardless of how trivial.
- Don’t
- Talk too much or refer to Channel 4
- Swear. This is an open radio channel.
- Shout into the radio. It will only distort resulting transmission.
- Abuse antenna.
