Smile is currentlyseeking occupational therapists (OTR/L) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA) to join our dynamic team.

Occupational Therapists (OTR/L, COTA applicants)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from anaccredited college for OTRL candidates.
  • Bachelor’s or COTA associates degree from an accredited college for COTA candidates
  • California licensure as a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L, COTA)

Senior Occupational Therapists (OTR/L), Clinical Supervisors (with 2-5 years supervisory experience)

Qualifications:

  • Two to five years supervisory experience evaluating andproviding occupational therapy as a licensedOccupational Therapist,
  • At least two of those years working with the pediatricpopulation,
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from anaccredited college,
  • California licensure as a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
  • Advanced certification in feeding skills is a plus!

General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Maintains knowledge of current developments in the field ofoccupational therapy pertinent to the work at Smile,
  • Ability to provide direct services to families and children
  • Effective planning and problem-solving,
  • Well-versed in the online session note documentation and data collection software system a plus. As wellas other special education/related services software,
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in collaboration with other staffmembers across departments and work sites.
