The Artistic roller-skating club KUK Nova Gorica (Slovenia) is honored to invite you to the 33rdInternational Trophy Roller Skating Competition "GORIŠKA VRTNICA".
The competitionincludes the following disciplines: Figures, Short Programme and Long Programme.
DATE AND VENUE:
The competition will take place from April 27 till 29,2012 in the “Balon” arena in the Sports’ Park complex in Nova Gorica.

Categories “Cicibani”, Minis,Espoir and promotional categories “D” and “E” are in Figures attached to this invitation.
CEPA Rules 2012 will be applied for categories from Cadet till Senior.
FREE PROGRAMME:
CEPA Rules 2012 will be applied for all the categories, except for Beginners, “Cicibani” andpromotional categories "D" and "E".
Rules for the promotional categories "D" and "E" are attached to this invitation.Elements, which are not permitted for these two categories, will not be scored.
Categories Beginners and “Cicibani” have no required elements in their Free Programme.

PARTICIPANTS:
Each club/nation can enter an unlimited number of skaters.
ENTRY FEE:
The skaters can compete in all three disciplines or can choose competition in Figures, Short Programme and Long Programme.The entry fee is charged separately as follows:
- Figures € 13.00
- ShortProgramme€ 10.00
- Long Programme € 13.00
and must be paid before the beginning of the competition.
AWARDS:
The first, second and the third classified skatersin Long Programmewill receive a cup.The first, second and the third classified skatersin Figures and Short Programme competition will receive medals.
All participants will receive a memory medal.
The first three classified clubs for “Goriška vrtnica” Trophy will receive trophy cups.
Trophy result calculation:
For “Goriška vtnica” Trophy the clubs will compete with their nominated skaters in Free Programme only.
Skaters will earn the points as presented in the following table:
SCORING FOR CATEGORIES BEGINNERS, CICIBANI, MINIS, ESPOIR AND PROMO "D" AND "E":
1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1
From 6th place on each skaterearn 0.5 points.
SCORING FOR CATEGORIES CADETS, YOUTH, JUNIOR, SENIOR AND IN-LINE:
1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2
From 6thplace on each skaterearn1 point.
Clubs’ ranking:Clubs will be ranked based upon the sum of the points gained by all of the team members competing for the “Goriška vrtnica” Trophy.
Clubswith more than 6 skaters have to nominate6 skaters, when entering their participants. The maximum number of the skaters nominated per category is 2.
The following criteria, ordered from 1 to 5, will be applied in case of two or more clubs earning the same score:
- better score in the 3 categories with the highest number of competitorswhere club is competing
- highest number of first places
- highest number of second places
- highest number of third places
- club with the youngest skater
The organizing club does not compete for the “Goriška vrtnica” Cup.

VARIOUS:
All the participants act on their own responsibility. There will be no international regular health insurance submitted. The organizing club will providetheFirst-aid medical assistance during all the practices and competition.
The organizing club declines any responsibility for injuries or other damages, which may occur before, during and after the competition and practice.
Practice without a prior authorisation of the organizer and without a presence of the First-aid medical assistance is not allowed.
TIME SCHEDULE:
The official schedule will be publishedafter the receipt of all the entries.
