Experience

As the elected president, I am responsible for the organization and spearheading our three goals as a club: To enrich the educational experience of all students and community members interested in art and design, to bring opportunities for career experiences to students who study within the School of Design, and to be the voice for the university’s student led artistic and cultural contributions to the city of Brookings. I am currently negotiating a high budget commission piece for the SDSU College of Nursing, a network of community galleries located within businesses in the downtown district, as well as beginning talks to begin a non-profit maker’s space in our business district that’s goal is to be accessible to students and community members of all income levels.
