RULES & REGULATION

MEMBERSHIP

The club shall consist of

Founding members nominated by the Secretariat

Honorary members elected by the Secretariat

Members confirmed by the Secretariat

Junior members confirmed by the Secretariat

Artist members confirmed by the Secretariat

New members are vetted by the clubs members committee which meets twice a year, associate temporary membership (restricted services) may be offered to the applicant whilst waiting for the committee to meet.

A member may resign from the club at any time by given written notice to the Secretariat.

LOCATION AND OFFICE (headquarters)

The Club house and the office are located in a villa from the 17th century in Lugano/Pura, Ticino - Switzerland

OPENING HOURS

The club will open twice, every second Thursday of the month from 5–12 pm

The club will open on reservation for private functions in coordination with the secretariat.*

The club will open for special activities, for workshops, art-exhibitions and educational programs. (in coordination with the arts club monthly program)*

SERVICES OFFERED BY THE CLUB

Private Dinners*

The Club house can be rented to one or more Members wishing to use it for a private party after 5 p.m. under the following conditions:

They must obtain the secretary permission in advance. The secretariat will supervise and organize the event according to the Rules of the Club and take charge of all safety measures.

A per capita and minimum fee, fixed by the secretary, will be charged together with the reimbursement of any damages

Corporate functions are available to members and their nominated clients.

All Corporate events must use the catering arm of the club including all beverages, canapés, food, cutlery, linens and serving personel.

Travel and transfer can be arranged*

B & B for members, friends and artists only*

* prices are variable and will be established by the Secretariat

PAYEMENT OF BILLS

The membership fee shall be paid by bank transfer.

Consumption expenses (meals and drinks) during evenings or any other activities organized by the club will require an estimated 50% deposit for hire and food. Beverages are payable , along with the balance at the end of the evening/event shall be paid within the same day. Only cash shall be acceped.

SUGGESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS

Complaints and suggestions are to be in writing and will be dealt with without prejudice.

Suggestions if acted upon will offer as a thank you a Champagne reward.

GENERAL BEHAVIOR

Courtesy and respect for the club, its members and their guests.

No Duelling.

Noise levels to be respected.

Members are being asked to leave, forfitting any payments for the event

(non refundable)

LOST AND FOUND – PRIVATE PROPERTY

Must be brought to the attention of the Club

Any items found on the premise will be held for one month then disposed of if not claimed.

EXPULSION

The President and/or the Secretariat has the formal right to expel at its discretion any Member who may have infringed the rules. A Member who fails to pay his subscription shall be considered to have resigned from the Club
