The Hall
Rainford Village Hall is a traditional, elegant hall located in the centre of Rainford Village. Built in the early 1900s, this spacious and sophisticated Edwardian building has become a popular place to hold the perfect wedding reception. There is much that can be done to transform the Hall into the setting of your dreams, with its high ceilings and open spaces meaning there is great scope for the imagination. At the bottom of this introduction there is a plan of the Hall, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it has a great deal of potential. However, please note that while decorations may be stuck to the woodwork, no decorations can be stuck to the wallpaper. In addition, the Hall can be used to set up the day before your wedding.
Furthermore, the facilities available at Rainford Village Hall are excellent, with a fully licensed bar, disabled access and WC, parking and a stage that can be used in a variety of ways. The Hall is also equipped with beautiful chandeliers, a noticeboard that can be cleared in order to display your seating plan, a flipchart or easel that can also that can also be used for this purpose, and even a disco ball.
The maximum number of people that can be accommodated in the Hall is 180. The hall recently acquired new gold and red banqueting chairs, but chair covers with sashes, alternative chairs and round tables can be provided, as can basic white crockery and cutlery, although these can be hired separately if you so desire.The tables in thehall are 6’x2’ rectangular, and be
arranged in various combinations to seat up to 14 people. Rectangular white tablecloths are available to hire.
A kitchen is available for the caterers of your choice to use.
The Bar
The Bar has a great range of beers, wines and spirits with Tetley’s beer and Foster’s lager on tap. George Wright’s real ale (from a local micro-brewery) is available on a hand pump. We can also stock any particular drink you would like behind the bar.

Reception Packages
Rainford Village Hall offers reception packages to suit all requirements and budgets, even giving you the opportunity to makeyour own reception package with our unique ‘pick and mix’ package.
At Rainford Village Hall, we have devised a number of reception packages, tailored to suit any needs or budget. We have four main packages, and, as we understand that not one thing can suit everyone, our own ‘pick and mix’ package which allows you to createyour own wedding package to suit you.
The Muncaster Package
The Muncaster Package includes:
Full use of the Hall, the kitchen and the Reception Room
Guests greeted with a glass of Prosecco and/or Pimms, or non-alcoholic alternative
Prosecco provided for the toast (non-alcoholic alternative available)
Half a bottle of red, white or rosé wine per guest with the meal (non-alcoholic alternative available)

Decorative Bay trees
Swagging and bows on the outdoor railings of the hall

The Mossborough Package
The Mossborough Package includes:

Guests greeted with a glass of Buck’s Fizz and/or Pimms or non-alcoholic alternative
Prosecco provided for the toast
Half a bottle of red, white or rosé wine per guest with the meal (non-alcoholic alternative available)
Staffed bar throughout the day and evening
Chair covers and sashes in a colour of your choice
