Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Senior Respiratory Sleep Scientist. In conjunction with the Senior Respiratory Sleep Scientist in Charge, you will oversee the day to day operation of the Sleep Disorders Unit (SDU), to perform complex and specialised tests requiring clinical experience, to provide ongoing training to the less-experienced staff in the laboratory and conduct research in the areas relevant to laboratory operation.

Area Profile: The $1.2 billion Perth Children's Hospital is being built on the QEII Medical Centre site in Nedlands and will replace Princess Margaret Hospital as the State's dedicated children's hospital. The PCH will have 298 beds, 48 more than PMH and the design of the building allows for future expansion.

All specialist services currently provided by PMH will be available at the new PCH, with many clinical areas expanded including an increase in neonatal and oncology capacity, an expanded Surgical Day Stay Unit and the introduction of a High Dependency Unit alongside the Intensive Care Unit. The PCH will also have all the necessary specialised equipment for treatment and diagnosis, plus the teaching and research facilities staff need to meet their learning requirements.
