THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS INTRODUCED BY COUNCIL MEMBER ______AND SECONDED FOR ADOPTION BY COUNCIL MEMBER ______

RESOLUTION 15-23

ARESOLUTIONOFTHE.CITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFMANDEVILLEAUTHORIZINGTHECOUNCIL CHAIRMAN TOEXECUTEANAGREEMENTWITHPOSTLETHWAITENETTERVILLE,APACFORTHEPURPOSEOFCONDUCTINGA FINANCIALAUDITFORTHECITYOFMANDEVILLEASOFANDFORTHEYEARENDINGAUGUST31,2015ANDPROVIDINGFOROTHERMATTERSINCONNECTIONTHEREWITH

WHEREAS,Section2-08oftheCityofMandeville'sHomeRuleCharterspecifically grantstheCityCounciltheauthoritytoengageanaccountingfirmtoprovideanannual independentauditoftheCity'sfinancialstatements;and

WHEREAS, On September 7, 2011, under Resolution No 11-46, the MandevilleCityCouncilsolicitedproposalstoengageanaccountingfirmtoprovideanannualindependent auditthroughRFPspecifications;and

WHEREAS,theCityofMandevillereceived fiveproposalswhichwerereviewedbyan appointed Criteria Review Committee; and

WHEREAS, the appointed Criteria Review Committee reviewed all proposals undertheguidance of the Purchasing Agent, the Director of Finance and the RFP specifications; and

WHEREAS, upon review of the proposals and references, PostlethwaiteNettervillewas thefirmfoundmostresponsible;and

WHEREAS, Under Resolution 11-68, the City Council authorized the Council Chairman to engage PostlewaiteNetterville, APAC for a three year term for financial audit services for the City of Mandeville through the fiscal year ending August 31, 2013 and Resolution 14-21 extended the term of the contract and services until August 31, 2015; and,

WHEREAS, the Mandeville City Council desires to engage PostlewaiteNetterville, APAC for an additional one year term for the purpose of conducting a financial audit for the City of Mandeville for the year ending August 31, 2015.

WHEREAS, the total PostlewaiteNetterville fee estimate for said time period will not exceed amounts as previously submitted in their proposal dated November 15, 2011.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mandeville in regular session assembled on the 23rd day of April, 2015 hereby authorizes Rick Danielson the City Council Chairman to execute the attached agreement between the City of Mandeville and PostlewaiteNetterville APAC, for the City of Mandeville’s Annual Financial Audit for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2015.

With the above having been properly introduced and duly seconded, the vote was as follows:
