During our first three years, we have managed to achieve much with limited resources, and among the areas that have begun to respond to our lobbying are Planning, Sustainability and the Welsh language, Education, Welsh for Adults, Welsh in the Health Service and developments have been made with Carmarthenshire and Gwynedd County Council.
Following our lobbying work, It was announced recently, as part of the Welsh Government’s budget, that funding would be made available for Welsh for Adults and to create a Language Agency. This is a move towards the right direction.
It is not possible to maintain and strengthen our influence without additional financial support and we want to be able to employ full-time officers to be able to constantly lobby effectively. We will be able to do this if we can increase our income and your donation can make a difference to this important work.
