The championships will be conducted under Archery GB rules using Method 1 - Untimed - 3 arrows per end and dress code 307 will apply.

(It is hoped to commence The Nationals at 14.00pm although this will depend upon completion of the CSAA Annual General Meeting which will be held during the lunch break)

Note- Only York (Gent) / Hereford (Lady) rounds are eligible for individual and team awards.

These include score, first name, surname, gender, bow style, date of birth/age category, Membership Numbers, Area, Region, Department, Affiliations, Round, Disability Information, Handicap/Classification, address, contact numbers and Car Details.

By signing the entry form you are agreeing to the above.

RESULTS:The Results of the Championship will be published on the CSAA & CSSC websites. Any entrant wishing to receive the Results direct, should supply an email address or provide a stamped SAE (220mm x 110mm) to the Organizer marking it “Results”.

ACCOMMODATION: The CSSChas arranged accommodation at the The Huntingdon Marriott Hotel, Kingfisher Way, Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Huntingdon, England PE29 6FL on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis; please see the hotel booking form for further details.

Tournament application & hotel booking forms to arrive no later than 1August 2018.

Tournament only entries must arrive by Saturday 25th August 2018. Telephone entries will not be accepted.

Cheques will not be presented before the Championships.

Claims for refund of expenses incurred, where applicable, will not be paid until after the Championships.

In the event of your cancellation, no refunds will be given after the closing dates

REGULATIONS, Terms & Conditions

1.All archers must be affiliated to Archery GB and their Rules of Shooting will apply.

2.Archers must conform to Archery GB Dress Regulations: those not complying will not be allowed to shoot.

3.Archers competing at Record Status tournaments will be liable for drug testing, and competitors approached to give samples must comply, that if they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result and that entries from archers under 18 must be acknowledged by a parent/guardian to signify their consent to their child being drug tested if approached.

4.In view of the provisions of the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the tournament organiser.

5. Signature of parent or guardian consenting to junior archer being tested for drugs if this is a record status shoot and parent will not be attending (NOTE: This must be parent or legal guardian - a senior archer accompanying the child cannot give this consent.) Also contact details where they can be contacted in case of problems must be provided.

6.GNAS cards must be shown on the day.

7. All CSSC/CSAA membership & fees where applicable MUST be up to date by the closing date of the Tournament entry in order to qualify for awards/expenses. No fees will be accepted at the venue or hotel.

8. Allcompetitors and guests are to bring a form of photographic identification to gain access to RAF Wyton.

Hereford Round for the Ladies’ Championship and Awards

York Round for the Gentlemen’s Championship and Awards

Bristol Rounds will be available for juniors and Long National and National rounds will be available for any archers that wish to shoot a shorter round in the afternoon.

Vixen Trophy: Highest score by a Lady Member of CSSC, NICSSA or CSAA with the lowest classification shooting the Hereford Round.

Fox Trophy: Highest score by a Gentleman Member of CSSC, NICSSA or CSAA with the lowest classification shooting the York Round.

Bill Kinsman Trophy: Highest score by a Member of the CSSC aged 60 or over, using the handicap scoring method.

Neptune Chalice: Highest score by a Lady Member of CSSC or NICSSA with a compound bow.

NICSSA Trophy: Highest score by a Gentleman Member of CSSC or NICSSA with a compound bow.

Tim Ellis/Alan Smith Trophy: Highest score with a compound bow by a Member of CSSC, NICSSA or CSAA with the lowest classification.

Hatfield Dish: Highest score by a Lady Member of CSSC or NICSSA with a longbow.

Hertford Tankard: Highest score by a Gentleman Member of CSSC or NICSSA with a longbow.

Les Kent/Neil Sutcliffe Trophy: Highest score by a CSSC & NICSSABT recurvearcher.

CSAA Handicap Trophies: Highest handicap score by Lady & Gent Member of the CSAA.

NOTE: all teams are pre nominated and must include at least two archers & it is permissible for a longbow archer to replace a recurve archer as a member of a team.

HOTEL BOOKING FORM

The venue for this year’s National Archery Championships is Pathfinder Bowmen, RAF Wyton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 2EAand your Committee has arranged a discounted hotel rate.

Limited dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation will be available on a first come basis on both Thursday 6th and Friday 7th September 2018 atThe Huntingdon Marriott Hotel, Kingfisher Way, Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Huntingdon, England PE29 6FL.

The cost of dinner, bed and breakfast is £62 per person per night on the basis of two people sharing a room. The single supplement cost is £24.

Similarly if any archers are accompanied by a partner or guest, there will be a charge of £62 per night for the partner / guest.

The cost of accommodation must be forwarded with the attached booking form.

NB. The usual accommodation arrangements for Regional Champions and Regional Team members will apply (i.e. the cost of necessary accommodation for one or possibly two nights may be recovered), bycompletion of the appropriate claim form that will be available on the day. Other archers may claim against the CSSC National Travel Policy.
