  13. Please ensure the Simply the Best video is running on a loop during Open House from a common area TV, example cafeteria, hall, or media center
  14. You will work with the school bookkeeper to record which students purchase iPad insurance during Open House at the LLE Table. The bookkeeper will be responsible for collecting the money. More information will be provided soon. You will help record who has paid. Pre-K is not collecting money at Open House.

  16. Liberty Learning Experience
  17. Media Center iMacs will be set up after the labs and gifted classrooms are in place.
  18. Extra iPads will be kept in each media centers.
  19. You are encouraged to purchase extra iPad power adapters to create charging stations in the media center for student use.
  20. Extra iPad power adapters will be available for sale at your school.
  21. Melissa Roberts is checking on how the Apple TV will work with the Elmo, Smart document camera, Mobi, and Smart slates
  22. Equipment Circulation
  23. Apple TVs will be added to teachers’ classrooms by the Tech Office technicians. They will keep track of which barcodes are assigned to each room using a spreadsheet. You will be given this list and asked to check the TVs out in Asset Manager.
  24. Teacher iPads and MacBooks- Once in Asset Manager- Please use the provided spreadsheets to check out noted equipment in Asset Manager.

  26. Student iPads- LCHS and BI will check out student devices first. Use the provided spreadsheet to record the patron’s id number to note the checkout. The middle schools and then the elementary schools will circulate in Asset Manager to students.

  30. Checkout Procedure
  31. It is suggested that each class visit the media center and receive a briefing on the LCSS iPad Pride Handbook. This could be done in a video format.
  32. The Student Agreement Form is signed and filed at the school with the signed Code of Conduct.
  33. Students then are able to checkout their ipads.
  34. The student insets the iPad into the clam case while in the media center.
  35. Dealing with work orders for student iPads
  36. Student Work Order Procedure
  37. Any staff member can put in the work order for a malfunctioning student iPad.
  38. At the end of the school day, the iPad is turned into the media center.
  39. A temporary replacement iPad is checked out to the student.
  40. Destiny to Asset Manager Update
  41. Process for Making the Final Transition
  42. Review what was imported into Asset Manager. Did any materials get imported that did not belong? Did some records not get imported? Are some records in the wrong asset tree area? Identify any issues.

  44. Review the provided spreadsheets to see what teachers returned during summer training. In Destiny check this equipment in and discard it, if needed. It is suggested that you create a discard material type in Destiny for this.
  45. Discard these items from Asset Manager if they imported.

  47. Move all Destiny items that have been imported to Asset Manager to the Discard material type.
