1.Review the genesis of OPFOR doctrine for paramilitary and nonmilitary organizations as documented in FM 7-100.3.

  1. Understand the background that led to the evolution of the Contemporary Operational Environment and the contemporary OPFOR.
  2. Understand the contemporary threats and other actors who might play an influential role in the COE.
  3. Understand the COE which U.S. military training models.
