Ideally, we hope to help you hone your skills in cognitive aging research, publish novel results, present at meetings, become known to more senior researchers who might have available job opportunities and write an career development application or other type of funding application that will enable you to transition into a successful career position.

What will happen should you be accepted to the program?

Upon acceptance, we will ask you and your mentors to develop an individual research and training program (IDP) in conjunction with your mentoring team. This plan will be reviewed by the Training Faculty group within the first quarter after your arrival. The Faculty members will evaluate the significance, feasibility and quality of the plan, and may suggest modifications or identify additional resources to enhance the research project’s success.
