Application Form Requesting Consideration for Tourism Signing

This form should be completed by all persons requesting consideration for provision of tourism signs.

Advice on completing the form:

1.Study the enclosed policy review document to determine whether you consider that you are likely to be eligible. It should be noted that eligibility does not cover automatic entitlement to signs.

2.Complete all sections of the form relevant to your attraction or facility. You may include further documentation in support of your request.

3.If you consider that you might be eligible for signing on the motorway or trunk road network, consideration will be given by the County Council to your request which will then be forwarded, if appropriate, to the Highways Agency. Nearest trunk road(s) are:

4.All applicants are required to forward a cheque for £100, made payable to Staffordshire County Council, with their application form. This fee is to cover the costs of investigating the request and is non-returnable in the event of the application being refused.
