This application form can be obtained from the office of Chief Commercial Manager/ Catering, Room No. 41-A, Baroda House, New Delhi on any working day between 10:00 to 17:00 Hrs. on payment of Rs. 5000/- to be deposited in cash with Divisional Cashier, Baroda House, New Delhi or by way of DD in favour of FA&CAO/Ctg., Northern Railway. If the form is downloaded from website separate DD of similar amount may be attached with the application.
In the space given on the top of the form, indicate the brand and product for which shortlisting is sought. Each form is valid for one product only.
Information desired in all fields are essential, applicants must comply with the corresponding query. If the space provided is not sufficient the applicant may attach extra sheet(s). Applicants should fill all fields, if the field is not applicable, write “Not Applicable”. Incomplete form will not be entertained.
The above mentioned details may be given along with required supporting documents duly attested by Gazetted Officer/1st Class Magistrate/Notary.
Northern Railway reserves the right to reject any application at any point of time without assigning any reason.
Northern Railway decision on shortlisting of brands shall be final and binding.
Samples of the product are also required to be sent as and when demanded for shortlisting, free of cost to Northern Railway.
Northern Railway reserves the right to inspect the production facilities of the applicant company, as and when it deems necessary.

i.) The firm should have requisite minimum turnover as given below, from sale of Food & Beverage items and from the sale of specific brand, for which Short-listing is sought, for the last two completed financial years (2009-10 & 2010-11).

The company/firm should be registered for manufacturing and selling similar products in India.
The company/firm should possess at least 2 years’ experience of manufacturing the product in India.
The company/firm should possess valid license (Health license/FPO/PFA/ISI etc.) issued by the competent Government Authority.
The Brand, for which Short-listing is sought, should be registered.
The Company/Firm should enclose copy of all relevant documents, in support of requisite information, along with balance sheet and P&L account of last two complete financial years (2009-10 & 2010-11).

Since short listing is a continuous process, the renowned manufactures of above tems, who are desirous of having their brands short listed for use/service/sale on Northern Railway may submit their applications on the prescribed forms in the office of Senior Commercial Manager/Catering, Room No. 15-G, Baroda House, New Delhi by 17.00 hrs. on any working day before 7th May, 2013 for all items and in case of tea before 7th March, 2012. The validity of the shortlisting of each item will be as mentioned in the above shortlisted list.

The application form can be obtained from the office of Chief Commercial Manager/Catering, Room No. 41-A, Baroda House, New Delhi on any working day between 10.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs. on payment of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five thousand only) to be deposited in cash with Divl. Cashier, Baroda House, New Delhi or by way of Bank draft in favour of FA & CAO/Ctg. Northern Railway for each of the items, which will be non refundable or can be downloaded from website and separate DD for Rs. 5000/- may be attached with application.

It is also clarified that this is not a tender notice but application for shortlisting of brand of above mentioned items for further process of procurement after calling tenders/quotations.
