We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our Civil Claims against Public Authorities and Public Law & Community Care teams to assist our experienced Solicitors in our London office.

Salary:£18,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm

Job Description: Administrative Assistant

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to our fee-earners and to support the day-to-day running of the practice.

Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)

Administrative

  • Dealing with post and packages.
  • Answering the telephone/meet and greet reception duties
  • File opening/closing of new client instructions
  • Filing and file maintenance
  • Photocopying, scanning and faxing documents and correspondence
  • Collation of documents and preparation of duplicate bundles
  • Stationery and office supply orders/purchasing
  • Setting up meetings, organising events and diary management; listing hearings
  • Day to day Twitter account management
  • Day to day Website management and maintenance
  • Assisting with the invoicing of clients includingclaims to the Legal Aid Agency
  • General administration
