BIOL 331: Ecology and Behaviour Field Course

Registration for this fall course on MINERVA begins in April, but the sooner you submit your application form and deposit, the better! Spaces in the course are limited to 16.We accept applications during the winter term -- first come, first served. There will be a waiting list in the order applications are received.
*There is a course fee of $586.73to cover the costs of room and board at the field station. Note that this course fee does NOT include the registration fees associated with taking the course; these vary with your residency and fall course load and are assessed through the Student Accounts Office. A deposit of $200 must be made when you apply for permission to register for the course; this $200 deposit is non-refundable after June 30. The balance of the course fee must be paidby July 31 and (except for emergencies) is non-refundable after August 8! This is because catering and accommodation charges are not refunded to the Biology department for late cancellations.

Payment of the $200 depositas well as the balance of the course fee is made into your student account, using any of the acceptable payment methods. See details. Once you have arranged for payment of the deposit, please email Student Accounts () to notify them that the payment has been made. To ensure your payment is routed correctly, you MUST include your student ID # in the text of the email and use the subject lineBiology 331 – Deposit.This will earmark the payment for this field course. You also must copy Susan Gabe on that email () so that she then can open MINERVA to allow you to register for the course.Failure to send this confirmation email may result in misallocation of your payment and a delay in receiving permission to register.
Once your application and deposit are received, then you will be authorized to register on MINERVA. The course follows the standard MINERVA procedure for fall term courses, but you will not be allowed to register in MINERVA until you turn in your application form and deposit.Fill out the Application Form and e-mail it to Susan Gabe ().
