Navarro’s Energy Efficiency Rebate Program (effective February 1, 2010) is an incentive program offering rebates to residential members who make qualified energy efficiency improvements to their homes. The program is a great way for residential members to use energy more efficiently and save money.

Rebate Offerings

Heat Pump Rebate

Members who replace existing HVAC equipment (in electric-only, single family homes) are eligible to

receive a $400 rebate for a 16 SEER High Efficiency Heat Pump (or higher). The incentive rebates

for this program apply to the replacement of existing HVAC equipment at any existing residential

home. The member must provide a copy of the receipt with the Air Conditioning Heating and

Refrigeration Institute (“ARI”) designation of the qualifying installation from the installing contractor for

verification purposes. This incentive rebate is not applicable for homes that use natural gas for heating.

HVAC Tune-Up Rebate

Residential members who have a HVAC tune up performed by a licensed service professional can receive

a rebate not to exceed $100 per unit. An annual HVAC tune up includes: checking and correcting the

unit’s refrigerant pressure and tubing, checking and adjusting belt tension, cleaning and lubricating

the indoor blower unit, replacing filters, cleaning inside the “A” coil, and checking the thermostat,

wiring, and other electric parts.

A copy of the receipt from a qualified contractor stating that the work above was completed must be

provided to Navarro along with this form signed by the technician or his Company Representative.

The Energy Efficiency Program rebates are available only for qualifying purchases and/or services. The

availability of the Energy Efficiency Rebate Program is limited and rebates will be processed on a first

come, first served basis. When funds have been depleted the Energy Efficiency Rebate Program will no

longer be available. Members must submit this form and required documentation to be eligible

NCEC, Inc. is not a party to any agreement between the member and any service provider hired by the member to install equipment (i.e. heat pumps) or to perform services (i.e., HVAC tune-ups) in order to qualify for a rebate. The member and service provider are solely responsible for satisfying rebate eligibility requirements.
