Application for Membership 2015

St Ives Cycling Club encourages active participation in all forms of cycling and organises a number of events to provide opportunities for competition. To qualify for Standard Membership of St Ives CC in 2015 you must meet at least one of the following requirements:

•have assisted at two events during 2014; either club open events or evening time trials

•be a committee member for 2015 (or be assisting running the club with committee approval e.g. Go-Ride coaches)

•have organised an event on behalf of St Ives CC during 2014 (including Go-Ride)

•be a Life or Honorary member

Members who joined after June 2014 must have supported the club on at least one occasion. Members under the age of eighteen are not required to assist at events in order to maintain their Standard Membership.

Membership Benefits

All members will receive the following benefits in 2015:

• Entitlement to participate and compete in all club events and activities
• Discount at Grafham Cycles - 15% on bikes/frames and 20% on clothing/accessories.
• For 1st Claim Members Only:
• Entitlement to enter open events as a St Ives CC member
• Entitlement to wear the club kit in competition
• Eligibility for the club win bonus scheme (as detailed in the October 2014 committee meeting minutes)

Membership Fees

*Age is taken as at 1st January 2015

All Adult members rejoining from previous years who do not qualify for Standard Membership in 2015 should pay the Non-active Fee. All other members and new membersshould pay the Standard Membership Fee.

New members joining after June 1st will pay half fees for the remainder of 2015.

New members joining after October 1st will pay the full fee and become members through to the end of 2016.

I acknowledge that I have been advised as to the nature of St Ives CC club activities (via the web site, or by a committee member). I understand and agree that my son/daughter participate in club activities entirely at their own risk, that they must rely on their own ability in dealing with all hazards and that they must ride in a manner which is safe for themselves and all others. I agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to St Ives CC, its officials, or other members in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by my son/daughter however caused. I am satisfied that my son/daughter is sufficiently responsible and experienced to assume full and entire responsibility for his/her own safety whilst engaged in club activities on the public highway.
