Summer 2010

The purpose of the Marva Jones Brooks Internship is to encourage the exploration of a legal career by a minority high school junior or senior and provide that student with early exposure to a law firm environment.

The internship is available to one rising minority high school junior or senior, who has an interest in pursuing a career in the legal field. The internship will begin on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 and will end on Thursday, July 29, 2010. The intern should be available to work approximately 20 hours each week within the firm’s business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.). With the exception of a $250 stipend, this internship is unpaid.
