3. Selection Criteria
Please address the following criteria in preparing your application for the Guilford Bell Scholarship. (no more than 4 pages in total).
(a) Indicate how the scholarship would be spent to observe overseas architectural methods; and
(b) The significance and relevance of the proposed overseas travel to the applicant’s research higher degree candidature; and
(c) The potential for the proposed travel to enhance the quality of the applicant’s research higher degree thesis; and
(d) The potential for the proposed travel to expedite the completion of the thesis.

6. Conditions for scholarship
A recipient of the scholarship must:
(a) include in any paper that is published as a result of the research conducted while the recipient holds the scholarship a statement that the research was undertaken as a holder of the scholarship; and
(b) within 3 months after the recipient returns from overseas, present a seminar in the School of Architecture on the work undertaken while the scholarship was held.
7. Declaration
I declare that the information supplied is complete and correct in every particular. I authorize the University to obtain from other educational institutions and relevant authorities, at any time, details of my enrolment, academic record, examination results and bond status, including details of enrolment, variations and attendance.
I agree to abide by the conditions of the scholarship as amended from time to time. I am aware that there are severe penalties for providing false or misleading information.
I grant The University of Queensland permission to use details of the scholarship for publicity purposes.
