Application to Energy Studies is normally made by students in the Fall term of their sophomore year.
For this enrollment period in the Fall 2017 term, applications are nominally limited to the Class of 2020. If you are not a sophomore, but wish to enroll in Energy Studies, please contact the program director Michael Oristaglio, via e-mail ().

Students accepted into the program will normally be required to take APHY 100 in the spring term of sophomore year as a gateway course to Energy Studies.

Possible items to mention are: your specific area of interest in energy or in its impacts (such as climate change), relevant experience in an internship or study program, and any goals you hope to achieve with your studies.
