/ Application Directions for Potential New Members
Applications are accepted beginning on November 1 of each year.
Applications submitted earlier than this date will not be considered.
New Member Applications are accepted until January 1st

Applicants must be sponsored by an existing member

ê The sponsoring member must be “a member in good standing”.

ê The sponsoring member must have earned a ‘work credit’ for the previous year, with their membership card signed on the back by one of the Officers of the club. (This does not apply to Senior members or Honorary Life members.)

ê A member may only sponsor one new member per calendar year.

/ New members will be required to maintain a membership in the National Rifle
Association to remain an ERSC member. A photo copy of your NRA member card or the mailing label from an NRA magazine will be accepted as proof of your current NRA membership. Note-NRA membership cards that say Annual Member are not accepted. Card must show an expiration date and members name. NRA Life members, Patrons, EPL, Benefactor or Endowment will show NRA member status on the card with no date.

Applicants are required to submit a photo copy of a MN Permit to Purchase a Handgun or Permit to Carry. This is our way of performing a background check on all applicants. A copy of either permit, will be accepted as proof. Do not send the receipt for the permit, or proof you have taken a carry class.

Both of these items must be submitted with your application:

Copy of your actual Permit to Purchase OR Permit to Carry

Copy of your NRA membership card or mailing label from NRA magazine

Both a copy of your Permit AND NRA Membership card or mailing label MUST accompany your application. If you don’t have them, wait until you do to submit your application. Incomplete applications are rejected!

If you are selected to become a member of ERSC, you will be required to attend one of the two orientation sessions to learn the club’s established rules and procedures. These are held in February each year and the dates will be posted. Membership openings are limited, so follow these application instructions!

If you cannot attend either of these orientation sessions, we cannot consider you for membership.

Dues: + 150.00 All fees and taxes will be payable at orientation

Subtotal: = 300.00 if you are selected for membership.

MN Sales Tax: + 20.62

TOTAL: = $320.62 {The Senior discount DOES NOT apply to first year dues}
