Moorside Community Primary School has been serving the boys and girls of Ovenden

The school is currently in a position where we are already well on track to improve. We are at a key time in our development with investment in a new build to be started in the near future (anticipated September 2018) allowing us to develop the way we teach in line with 21st century learning.
The senior leadership team are fully supported by our highly experienced governing body and I am pleased to say the culture and ethos in school shows optimism and determination to succeed.
Many of our pupils are disadvantaged in both social and educational terms. The successful candidates should bring a wealth of experience and new ideas to our school and will continue to develop our pastoral provision where we maintain close links with all our stakeholders and the wider community.

About Us There has been a school on this site in Ovenden for over a hundred years, delivering
education to our young people. At Moorside we continue to provide an education for
pupils from Nursery to Y6 delivering a curriculum based upon memorable experiences
designed to inspire and capture the imagination of children.
We aim to offer an opportunity for all our children to experience success and in addition to our creative curriculum we offer a wide selection of age-appropriate after school clubs and activities.
