Appendix 4 – Annual Program Report template
[Title of Program]
Date:Author:
This template is designed to assist the development of an Annual Program Report (APR). This document supports the University’s External Program Review Processand UON’scommitment to assuring the quality of its teaching and learning.
Through a series of guiding questions, this templateasks Program Convenors to consider and reflect on a program’s short term performance. In particular, the templateasks for analysis as to how the various components of a program cohere with and support its overall aims and objectives.
This report is developed in accordance with the policies and procedures set by the Academic Senate and in consultation with all relevant academic and professional staff. The questions are offered as guidelines and might not be applicable in all instances. It is suggested that wherever possibleanswers should be kept brief and to the point.
This report will be evidenced based.
Programs which are similar in nature or linked, as with an honours pathway in an undergraduate program, may be reported in a single document.
Please carry relevant actions into the action plan template at the end of this document.
Assistance and advice on the completion of this template can be obtained by contacting the Manager, Planning and Quality, in Strategy, Planning and Performance.
The Annual Program Report for each program will usually be submitted to the first Faculty Board meeting of the year following delivery.
