The Annual General Meeting of the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League was held on Tuesday 11th June 2013 at 7-30pm at The Falconer, Welton Manor Golf Centre, Lincoln.

Mr P Teal was in the chair. Also present were Mr J Wood, Mr P Mason, Mr S Etcell, Mrs M Etcell, Mr B Davenport, Mr J Mulhall, Mr K Cawkwell, Mr R Brant & Mr A Flint.

1. Read the notice convening the meeting

The Chairman read the notice of the meeting.

  1. Roll Call

Hykeham Tigers, East Coast Youth & Wyberton Colts were not present.

  1. Minutes of the 2011 / 2012 AGM & Fixture Meeting

These were circulated for guidance only.

  1. Referee Of The Year

Mrs Julie Murphy presented Mr Don Brown with the Mick Murphy Memorial Referee of the Year Trophy.

  1. Club Official Of The Year

The Chairman presented Liz Rogers of Metheringham FC with the Club Official of the Year Shield.

6. Fixture Secretary Report

The Fixture Secretary Report was accepted as a true and accurate record.

7. Referee Appointments Officer Report

The Referee Appointments Officer Report was accepted as a true and accurate record. S Etcell explained only 9 games weren’t covered by an affiliated Referee throughout the whole season.

8. Welfare Officers Report

The Welfare Officers Report was accepted as a true and accurate record. Maxine commented all went well in her first year as Welfare Officer.

9. Secretary’s Report

The Secretary’s report was accepted as a true and accurate record.

10. Treasurer’s Report

Copies of the Treasurer’s report were distributed among the members. The Treasurer reported an profit of £1081.34p on the season.

11. Chairman’s Report

The Chairman’s report was accepted as a true and accurate record. The Chairman expressed is concern over the large amount of clubs who are failing to finish the season and asked clubs to be more prepared for 2013/14.

12. Press Officers Report

The Press Officers report was accepted as a true and accurate record. J Mulhall informed members about the website and explained the website poll which clubs could take part in and is happy to take match reports from teams to place in the local press.

  1. Election of New Clubs

Brigg Town, Market Rasen,Northgate Olympic,Old Leake,St Helens,Welton & Collingham were all accepted into the League.

13. Rules 2013/14

J Mulhall explained to all members that Player Insurance was not mandatory for youth football next season. Up to date no clubs had taken out a policy of this kind.

There were no further rule changes for 2013/14

  1. The League will commence on Sunday 1st September 2013
  1. The Emergency Committee requested permission to decide uponthe League structure and allocate Clubs to Leagues for 2013/2014 season.
  1. The Emergency Committee requested permission to arrange fixtures for the 2013/2014 season.
  1. The Emergency Committee requested permission to deal with business throughout the season, only calling a full management Committee meeting if deemed necessary.
  1. Honorarium

Chairman proposed that the Referee’s Secretary honorarium be increased from £100 to £150, this was seconded by the Vice Chairman. Pointon proposed increased to be paid by smaller amounts over the next three years. Members voted in favour of a £50 increase for next season.

  1. Fixture Meeting

Date arranged for Tuesday 23rd July 2013 7-30.pm at the same venue.

U21 League. A discussion took place on starting an U 21 League for 2014/15. This would most likely be a midweek League with 3 officials appointed. The LIFL committee to promote this throughout this season.

Northgate Olympic would be playing home games on the 3G pitch at Carres Grammar which has FA clearance, no players to wear metal studs or blades on this surface.
