2. / Update on actions from last meeting ( 15/8 and 12/9 ) / Update on actions-
JM provided update of Asset Register from JMCR showing asset values and process now in place for it to be monitored regularly by Housing. – copy attached.
JM gave outline of affordability tools available for calculating affordability of rent compared to net income which identify that with WD being more deprived on average with rest of Scotland by 6% then our rents should aim to be 6% below average to stay in line . ( sheet available with minutes)
JR – clarified that there is an annual review of the Business Plan and happens in October – new Business Plan system being introduced and Janice should be able to talk JRG thro it in November.
Overdue actions on work-plan –
JR – to provide “masterclass” on Business Plan, was due August 2017now scheduled for November.
JO - Worked example of o/o contribution for Capital work showing back in HRA.
3. / Assessment of workplan and priorities / Workplan discussed and updated. Agreed need to review workplan so that easier to track progress and actions. Agreed that JM and SK to refer back to SHN self assessment tool and review progress and to identify future workplan/priorities .
JM and SK also to review the methodology template and send suggestions to JR so that this years info can be put together ahead of public consultation.

Tenants have already identified that Fuel poverty is an issue of concern so could pre-empt increasing EESSH levels in WDC stock now through the Asset Management Strategy.
