CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1.  The 40th Anniversary Art Show is for the display and sale of original art works (contemporary & traditional) of painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, textile, 3D sculpture and photography. All artworks entered are to be for sale.

2.  Entry Fees: $5.00 for each artwork.

3.  All exhibitors are limited to four (4) entries with a total maximum display area of 2 metres x 1 metre including frame/s for hung work, and 2 metres x 1 metre x 1 metre for 3D sculpture works. No work should exceed 15kg. Pairs will be considered as two works.

4.  In event of failure to deliver or cancellation of an entry, the ENTRY FEES will not be refunded.

5.  All artwork must be original and not previously entered at the Apollo Bay Art Show i.e; not reproductions of own or another artist's work, or in breach of copyright. The work/s must be the product and property of the exhibitor. All work must be signed by the artist.

6.  ENTRIES CLOSE: 5pm on WEDNESDAY 23rd NOVEMBER 2016. Late entries will not be accepted.

7.  Framed works must be soundly mounted in a professionally acceptable practise. Please ensure that the wire/cord is firmly attached and strong enough to support the piece. Artwork will not be hung if not secure. 3D sculpture works need to be freestanding for display on plinths, or able to be safely hung with wire/cord supplied.

8.  All work exhibited must have on the back of each artwork; the title, artists name, telephone number and price (as submitted on the entry form).

9.  Artworks are exhibited at artist’s own risk. The Apollo Bay Art Show Committee takes normal steps to protect the works in their care but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of exhibited works. It is the artist's responsibility to insure their own works if required.

10.  The Apollo Bay Art Show Committee reserves the right to hang or display a lesser number of works entered by any artist if space is limited.

11.  The Apollo Bay Art Show Committee reserves the right to refuse work for exhibition. Wet entries will not be accepted. Reproductions will not be accepted. The decision of the committee is final.

12.  Sale of Exhibits: The Apollo Bay Art Show Committee will charge a 20% commission on the sale of each artwork. Please take this in to account when setting your selling price. Sale prices will not be negotiated with buyers. Prices printed in the Art Show catalogue are final.

13.  No amendments will be made to information on the entry form, after the deadline, 5pm Wednesday 23rd November 2016. This includes sale prices.

14.  Delivery of Exhibits: WEDNESDAY 21st DECEMBER 2016 from 11am – 4pm. Delivery to the Apollo Bay Senior Citizens Centre ONLY, 4 Whelan St, Apollo Bay. Note: Delivery dates are not negotiable. Only artworks hand delivered to this venue, on this day, will be accepted.

15.  The committee will endeavour to contact artists if all works have been sold.

16.  Collection of Exhibits: Artists must arrange for unsold works to be collected on THURSDAY 5th JANUARY 2017 between 9am – 1pm ONLY. Note: Collection date is not negotiable.

17.  Payment of sales will be made via cheque or EFT within approx. 1 month of the closure of the Art Show.
