Рaper and cardboard from sida hermaphrodita
V.A. Barbash, Dr., I.V. Trembus, Dr., V.M. Shevhenko, Dr., National technical university of Ukraine KPI, D.B. Rahmetov, Dr.,
Ability to use in the composition of cardboard and paper products of the organosolvent pulp, obtained from Sida hermaphrodita, experimentally confirmed. The samples of paper and cardboard to meet all the requirements of the standards. Found that the use of non-wood pulp will be deleted from the composition of mass species of cardboard and paper products (corrugated paper, containerboard and writing paper) more expensive imported pulp and lowers the cost of the finished product.
New technological processes of production of paper and paperboard from wastepaper
V.N. Moroz, Dr, A.A. Ostapenko, JSC Institute of Paper, Kyiv
Modern technologies of paper and cardboard from recycled paper can not do without the use of starch. However, when using it for a big loop to increase the strength of secondary fiber is achieved less than expected result. To eliminate this phenomenon is proposed to use new technologies. They suggest the use of synthetic chemicals. Such agents selectively affects the fiber of lower quality, and indicators of the strength of paper and paperboard increased.
Effect of mechanical properties of tin on the strength of screw caps for glass bottles
A.V. Vatrenko, Dr., OdessaStateAcademy of Food Technologies, Odessa
Mechanical properties of a tin-plate and their influence in particular on strength of closure lugs type III are considered in the article. It is shown, that the plate of different manufacturers at the same grade can have different hardness. The interrelation of tensile strength, yeild strength, hardness and elongation of a plate is shown.
As a result of the performed work it is established, that:
- the increase in hardness of a plate leads first of all to increase in its elasticity;
- by increase in hardness of a plate it is impossible to compensate adequately decrease in its thickness and accordingly decrease in strengh of products from it, in particular the closure of type III.

Packaging of food products in flexible materials
V.L. Shreder, JSC Ukrplastic, O.M. Gavva, Dr., NUFT, V.M. Krivoshey, Dr., IAC Upakovka, Kyiv
This article attempts to examine the process of packing products in flexible packaging as the interaction of three components: the products, flexible packaging material and working bodies of filling and packaging equipment.
In the first stage the authors consider types of flexible packaging materials and their characteristics, among them the flexibility and stiffness, which directly affect the manufacturing operations for packing and packaging.
It was determined the methods for estimating the stiffness of these materials, the dependence on the thickness and rigidity modulus of elasticity for different structures of flexible packaging materials (single-layer, biorientirovannye and laminated films of various polymers).
The authors have demonstrated the possibility of using the results to determine the optimum thickness of flexible packaging material in a given rigidity, and also for the design and upgrading of filling and packaging equipment for the use of specific flexible packaging materials of defined structure, hardness and thickness.
Determination of structural and mechanical characteristics of viscoelastic disperse systems
(food packaging)
V.S. Guts, Dr., NUFT, Kiev, U.A. Polevoda, VNAU, O.A. Koval, Dr., KNTEU, Kiev
The authors performed simulations and obtain differential equations. They describe the process of deformation of viscoelastic products. The article suggested method of determining the rheological coefficients for different modes condensing pressure. The results will allow more accurate dosing and to design high-performance packaging equipment.
Interaction sugary substances to the surface of aluminum packaging foil
(theoretical analysis)
V.P. Sherstyuk, Dr., L.S. Degtyarev, Dr., A.A. Sarapulova, NTU Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv
Aluminum foil is widely used as packing material, in particular for confectionery products. In this article, the authors presented the results of theoretical analysis of complex formation between the surface oxide, aluminum hydroxide, and compounds that simulate such substances packing foods, like carbohydrates (sweeteners). Professionals use this analysis to determine the inertia of the surface of aluminum foil about confectionery
The authors concluded that sugary foods are likely to come into contact with the foil directly and not through the hydrate layer. This may affect the performance of food quality.
Laser devices for making a cylinders for roto printing plate
I.N. Petriv, Dr., Ukrainian Academy of Printing, Lviv
It is shown modern methods and laser devices for producing forms of intaglio printing technology CtP. The author shows the schematic diagrams of laser devices for direct and indirect engraving on cylinders, gravure printing, coated with zinc and mask layers, and the expediency of their application for the production of packaging.
Brief for the creation of packaging
(recommendations for the development, or that it is necessary to clarify the Designer and the Customer before beginning work on the project)
O.V. Senchenko-Chueva, National University of Culture and Arts, Kyiv
It is discussed in detail items of brief, which gets a designer before starting work on a new advertising product - package. Some of the explanations for the job "did not fit" in business advice, but can significantly affect the workflow. With explanations of items found brief desirable to potential customers to develop packaging.
Brand book for private label
(creation’s rule)
E.V. Skuridina, Company Solutions for Brands GBS, Dnipropetrovsk
The author presents information about the need to develop specific recommendations for the development of private label. It is indicated the usefulness of such recommendations and the main parameters that go into them. The author gives examples of its own brands in relation to their trading networks with their characteristics, differences and diversity of applications. Finally, we have shown that the correct (according to certain guidelines) to use its own brand allows supermarkets to make a profit.
