APANO Award Recipient Nomination Form

APANO Awards

APANO has established specific awards, bestowed annually or biennially, to promote and uplift the mission, vision and values of APANO through the applied, and lived contributions of people and partners engaged with the organization. Through public recognition of individuals and groups, APANO seeks to acknowledge those who have contributed significantly to the fulfillment of APANO’s mission. The presented awards also illustrate how effective work for social change requires collective effort, perseverance, and understanding how the past influences the present and the future.

The Awards Committee seeks the input of APANO staff, Board members, committee or program chairpersons, and active member-leaders to compile a list of potential award nominees. These nominees must be recommended by one of the previously noted parties using the form below. Once nominations are received, the Awards Committee will review and select an award recipient based on the criteria provided below. Award recipient(s) will be notified by the APANO Board and honored at an upcoming event with a formal presentation from the Committee.
