determined cumulatively per semester.
Consequences of tardiness will be determined
by the administration.
6. Make-up and Redo Policy Each unit of study will require formative (homework ) assessments. At the beginning or during each unit, you will receive a review sheet. Not only will you be completing homework assignments but also the review sheet as we progress through the unit. Most homework assignments will be turned in daily. If you do not turn the homework assignment in on the due date, 20 points will be removed from your grade when you turn it in within the time window allowed. When the unit of instruction is complete, all homework assignments will have been turned in along with the review sheet. Once a unit has been completed and tested, no formative assignments from that unit will be accepted. Any student unhappy with their performance on a summative assessment will have the opportunity to complete corrections for each question missed. The corrections must be completely worked out with supportive work explaining why the question was incorrect initially. These corrections must be turned in within two days after receiving the graded test back. You may receive ½ point credit for each correction completed that is correct.

calculator appropriately. If you cannot
provide your calculator in good working
order with the correct internal ID
number at the end of the school year,
a fee will be assessed to you of $110.00 .

11. ELECTRONIC DEVICES/CELL PHONES
All cell phones and other electronic devices will be turned off and placed out of sight. These are a distraction and absolutely cause students to be unfocused. If there is a need for you to use them, I will give you permission to do so. Otherwise they are not permitted in my classroom. Precalculus and Calculus cannot be mastered with such distractions. All phones and/or devices will be taken up. I will not “compete” with such influences.
