Annual Conference and Fall Meeting

“Keep Calm and HR On”

Embassy Suites, Charleston, West Virginia

October 28-29, 2014

West Virginia Higher Education Human Resources Professionals—Please join us for the 7th annual Fall WVCUPA-HR conference and association meeting, to be held from October 28-29 at the Embassy Suites in downtown Charleston, West Virginia.

Our theme this year, “Keep Calm and HR On,” offers support to busy HR professionals who rarely have calm and uninteresting days! We are excited to offer you a wide array of useful topics such as updates on the Affordable Care Act (ACA); what HR needs to know about EEO, Campus SaVE and the Clery Act in light of the new regulations for the latter; HR’s role in campus collaboration and communications effectiveness; best practices for HR metrics; and effective employee performance management. As always, the conference extends an opportunity to network with our fellow West Virginia higher education colleagues, whether we represent private or public institutions.
