“Our society is finally waking up and standing up against the sexual violence pervasive in many industries, but what about the sexual exploitation of children?” says conference chair Michelle Kowalchuk. “Beyond Borders believes that we all have a part to play in stopping child sex tourism and trafficking. This day not only will acknowledge the important role journalists plays in engaging and educating the public, but with our expanded full day conference we will give those working in travel and financial services tools to better understand how they can become part of a movement to stop these crimes against children.
