Stewardship for 2/27/2011:

Early Service: 37 Morning Worship: 81 Total Offering: 3,397.11 Yard Sale: $2,600.00

This next Wednesday will be Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, which is the season for us to prepare for the time of the suffering and death of Jesus. Traditionally, Lent is a time of sacrifice and self-denial. This year, I want to offer you a challenge. Can you, for the six weeks of Lent, give a full tithe of your income to the church? If you are giving a tithe now, can you give a few percentage points more? If you take this challenge for Lent, can you keep it up? Giving is not about our church's need for money. It is about our spiritual growth and development. This Lent, I encourage you to begin the practice of tithing. If you are worse off by Easter because of your giving, then you can adjust.

Let us now give generously, God's tithe and our offering.

Our Guests: We welcome you to Bradbury UMC. We are excited by your presence in this worship service. It is our hope that you will come again and also participate in our programs as we grow in faith and discipleship. Our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed for both worship services. Please see a Greeter for directions.

The church office hours are Mon-Fri, 9:00 am-1:00 pm. If you are emailing a message to the pastor, please send it to . If you have an announcement or information for the bulletin it should go to: or fax to 376-2933 or leave on the churchoffice door. Bulletin information should be in no later than Thurs. at 1:00 pm. Please submit all announcements in writing. Our Sunday morning services are recorded. If you miss a Sunday and would like to view these, call the church office. Our website is:
