The Fife Youth Job Contract (FYJC) is the Fife Council response to high levels of unemployment within the 16-24 year old age group. We are seeking to deliver support to help this group gain and sustain employment. Working with employers and Opportunities Fife Partner we are looking to create additional opportunities for our young people, particularly those who otherwise would not achieve a positive destination.

35 Hours per week
Duration of the job (permanent or Temporary) : / Temporary – Max of 12 months with a view to making permanent if the candidate is a good fit with Schneider Electric. (6 Month probationary period)
Duties:
·  Exactly what the job involves
·  Is training provided / The successful candidate will join as the Marketing Assistant in Schneider Electric’s, European Energy & Sustainability Marketing Team based in Dunfermline. The candidate will provide support to the European Head of Marketing and will be involved in the support and execution of lead generation & new business generation initiatives including: eMarketing, Webinars, Social Media and websites across France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovenia and UK and Republic of Ireland. The candidate will be required to help collate Marketing data, collateral, assist with the organisation of marketing initiatives and other tasks as reasonably required in a fast paced European marketing team. The work is often challenging, varied and exciting.
·  Willingness to work hard, learn, ask questions to grow and be part of a European team within a global company.
·  Entry level / school leaver – interest in Marketing and Business Development in Business to Business environments.(B2B)
·  Good administrative capabilities and organisational skills.
·  Good communication skills - Good telephone manner – happy to pick up the phone to check database details or make arrangements as required.
·  Enthusiastic approach to life - The ability to enthuse others with energy, initiative.
·  Good computer skills - including word–processing, spread sheet. (Microsoft Word / Excel) Although this can be developed when the candidate joins.
·  Ability to work on own initiative, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi–task.
·  Good team player – based in Dunfermline working in a team of 3, but will also interface with colleagues across Europe and USA.
Ability to adapt to change and reprioritise work as required
