“ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE” DANCES AND SPLATTERS ONTO VOD NEXT WEEK

If you missed the terrific zombie musical ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE during its limited theatrical release last year, now you’ll be able to enjoy it at home.

Orion Pictures has announced that ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE will be available on VOD and digital in both standard and high definition next Tuesday, February 12. This must-see combo of undead gore and lively musical numbers (read our review here) was directed by John McPhail and scripted by Alan McDonald and the late Ryan McHenry, based on the latter’s short ZOMBIE MUSICAL, with original songs by Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly. Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire (who also did the choreography), Christopher Leveaux, Ben Wiggins and Marli Siu star; the synopsis: “When a zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven—at Christmas—Anna [Hunt] and her friends are forced to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world and, with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…”
