Silver Award Junior Badge Workshop
What: A chance for Junior Girl Scouts to earn the “Animal Helper” Badge (Virginia Skyline Council’s Own) and “Operation Happy Sock” participation patch!
When: Saturday, September 26th, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Where: DUMC Scout Hut
Admission Fee: $5.00 per girl
Also
individual girls attending - bring a box/bag of dog biscuits
or troops attending – bring a large bag of dry adult dog food
Must bring in order to earn badge!!
Three members of Troop 22442 will present this unique Badge Workshop which focuses on how girls can help with Animal Shelters and Pet Overpopulation. Participants will complete all of the requirementsto earn the “Animal Helper” badge and will also earn the “Operation Happy Sock” participation patch.
Please register before 10 September 2009 due to space limitations, patch ordering timelines and our desire to provide a qualityexperience for all participants. Seats in the workshop are limited to 33 girls. Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis (registration forms and fees paid).
How to Register:
1. Complete the registration form on the back of this form and mail in with the Fee.
2. A Health History and contact information must be provided – a copy of a Health History already providedto a troop leader is acceptable.
